Refund Policy (Workshops & Online Orders)

WORKSHOPS:

Here at The Crafty Lounge, we're dedicated to ensuring your workshop experience is as enjoyable as possible. While we understand that life can sometimes throw unexpected curveballs, we've crafted our refund policy to provide flexibility while also maintaining fairness to all participants. Please take a moment to review our policy below:

  1. No Refunds, but Credit Available: We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations. However, if you find yourself unable to attend a workshop after registering, don't fret! We're happy to offer you a credit for the full registration amount. To qualify for this credit, simply notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the workshop.

  2. Process for Credit Request: To cancel your registration and request a credit, kindly reach out to us via email at info@thecraftylounge.com. Please note that workshop credits cannot be exchanged for cash and are not applicable towards merchandise purchases.

  3. 48-Hour Notice Requirement: In order for us to accommodate your request, we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours' notice prior to the workshop's scheduled start time. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer credits or honor reschedule requests with less than 48 hours' notice.

  4. Exclusion for Special Guest Workshops: Please note that credits cannot be given for registrations for workshops hosted by visiting or out-of-town instructors. These unique workshops are one-time-only events and are subject to our standard policy.

  5. Weather and Force Majeure: In the event that a workshop is canceled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as inclement weather, increases in local Covid cases, changes to local Covid guidance, or other Acts of God, you will receive a credit to attend another workshop of your choice at a later date, whether in-person or virtual.

About Our Policy: At The Crafty Lounge, we pour considerable time and effort into planning each workshop, from sourcing materials and tools to scheduling staff and instructors. Last-minute cancellations or rescheduling can result in significant financial implications for our small business. As such, we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons such as illness, travel, or work commitments.

We encourage you to consider gifting your spot to a friend if you're unable to attend at short notice.

ONLINE ORDERS:

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
